When you’re on your game and looking to ski terrain as fast as it can be done, look to the Blizzard Cochise Skis to get you through in one piece (just ask Marcus Caston). Burly, confident, and ready for a set of strong legs to guide them, the Cochise holds tenaciously in high speed turns and excels at blowing through variable conditions that would humiliate other “freeride” skis. This ski demands a lot, but if you consistently push the limits of what can be done the Cochise is a tool you should seriously consider owning.
Description
-
Rocker Camber Rocker – Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.
-
Rocker Concept – Reduced rocker in tip and tail to increase carving character on piste and flotation off piste.
-
Shape Concept – Progressive wide body style with an aggressive radius. Slightly more aggressive tip shape to help turn initiation. Modern early rise tail shape that is designed to be playful in softer snow.
-
Carbon Flipcore Technology – A revolutionary rockered ski production process that incorporates a uni-directional carbon frame onto the core of the ski that results in great performance with a light and easy feel.
-
Sandwich Compound Sidewall – All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.
-
Dura-Tec – Improved durability through the use of thicker TPU foils on the topsheet edges.
