KHS got the basics right with the FLITE 280. It feels snappy on punchy climbs and surprisingly planted through fast descents, thanks to a double-butted 6061 aluminum frame and flat mount disc design. The bike runs Shimano Claris 2×8 mechanical shifting, aluminum wheels shod with 28 mm tires, and a standard FSA Vera handlebar with a rigid seatpost that keeps things simple and predictable. Riders get a straightforward, race-minded all-rounder you can race or hammer on weekend group rides, but you trade high-end shifting refinement and lighter wheels for a dependable, no-frills package.
